How cheap hotels in Stockholm compare
Of everything we can book in Stockholm at the moment, roughly 50% is at or below the local median price — 101 properties out of 201. Half of what is bookable sits between € 65 and € 129 a night, with the midpoint at € 109. That is within a few percent of the Stockholm median of € 111, so this filter barely moves the price here. Among the best-reviewed the star ratings run from 3 to 4, so this is not one class of property. The highest-rated right now is Lovely 2-bed Flat In Stockholm at 9.7/10 from 7 reviews, around € 140 a night. The six best-reviewed in this group average 9.1 out of 10 between them.

What to look for in cheap hotels in Stockholm
This list is the lower end of what is actually bookable in each destination, measured against that destination's own prices rather than a fixed number. Cheap in Zurich and cheap in Hanoi are not the same figure, and a single global threshold would return nothing in half the world. If what you actually want is the cheapest room near where you are right now rather than in a city you have named, hotels near me does that in one press: it searches around your own position and sorts by price.
Before you book, check
- What is not included: breakfast, wi-fi, towels in hostels, and city tax are the usual four.
- The location. A very low rate is often paid for in travel time to anywhere you want to be.
- The guest rating for cleanliness specifically, which is where budget properties diverge most.
- Whether reception is staffed around the clock, if you arrive late.
The cheapest rate on a property is often non-refundable and room-only. Compare the total you will actually pay, including breakfast and tax, rather than the headline. We show the typical starting price rather than the single lowest rate for exactly this reason.
Worth it for: Long trips where each night compounds, short stops where the room is only for sleeping, and anyone spending the money on the destination instead.
