Hotels with a pool in Cyprus

Every property in this list reports a swimming pool. That ranges from a full outdoor pool with a bar to a small indoor plunge pool used mostly by the spa. In cities the pool is often on the roof or in the basement and can be modest; at coastal and resort properties it is usually the centre of the place.

Before you book, check

• Whether the pool is heated and whether it is open in the month you are travelling — many outdoor city pools close from autumn to spring.
• Opening hours. Hotel pools frequently close by 20:00 and some are reserved for spa guests at set times.
• Whether children are allowed, and whether there is a separate shallow pool if you need one.
• Whether use is included. A few properties charge for the pool as part of a spa entry fee.

Worth it for: Families with an afternoon to fill, anyone travelling in heat, and long stays where you want somewhere to go without leaving the building.
