In a city centre this is one of the few amenities with a direct, measurable value: paid hotel parking in Amsterdam, Rome or Barcelona commonly runs from €20 to €45 a night, so a property with free spaces can be the cheaper option even at a higher room rate.
Before you book, check
- Whether spaces are guaranteed or first-come. "Free parking" with six spaces for forty rooms is a lottery you can lose at 22:00.
